DIY Whiteboards
After a couple months of the COVID-19 pandemic and starting a new project at work, I began missing the 24' of whiteboards in the office. I wasn't about to drop hundreds of dollars on a huge pre-fab one, especially after finding out that the big box stores carry a similar (although flimsy) surface in 4x8 sheets. Glued them to some cheap 1/2" plywood with contact cement and attached french cleats for hanging.
The one for my office covers up the window because there isn't much available wall space in there otherwise. Used a french cleat to keep it easy to remove/reinstall as needed for work projects. This only used about 5' of the 8' sheet, so I glued up and kept the remainder for future use in the studio or shop.
