Studio Remodel
It all started with the ductless mini-split... I was just going to install better HVAC than the wall-mounted heating unit.
But opening up a few holes in the wall and fishing wires through inspired me to finally take on the project I bought my house for, turning the studio into something legit.
Less critical portions of this project extended for a couple months to either side of the main project, but the major demolition, construction, and refinishing was completed during a couple of winter months when I found some significant downtime.
Main goals:
* Improve storage situation by splitting the room into a large storage closet and a combined live/control room
* Re-floor, re-paint, improve lighting/acoustics/mood, add more power throughout room
* Fix electrical and drywall issues, remove old ugly components (can lights, wall heater, hide sub-panel, etc.)
