Kitchen Remodel (Phase 1)
Thought it'd be a good idea to replace my kitchen faucet with one that had a sprayer on it.
When that became difficult to do with the sink in place, I decided it'd be a good idea to take the sink out.
While the sink was out, I thought I may as well replace it, since I've always hated it.
While installing the new sink, I found mold throughout the underside of the countertops. I thought it might be a good idea to replace those too, while I was at it.
While the counter tops were off, I thought it was a good idea to also paint the wall behind them an accent color, and the cabinets themselves to cover up the god-awful Golden Oak color.
On the verge of painting about 40 cabinet doors and drawer fronts, I thought it would be a good idea to build a spray booth and finishing rack in the garage to expedite the process.
And after all the cabinets were dry and reinstalled, it only made sense to install new hardware.
So yeah, a new faucet basically snowballed into a partial kitchen remodel over the course of a month. Don't EVER hand me a sink without a sprayer.
I also discovered I'd like to knock down a wall, install additional lighting, and change out the flooring. We'll call that Phase 2.
